Our Sorrow:

This is our last newsletter as appointed Assemblies of God missionaries. We officially retire April 30 after 56 wonderful years of overseas ministry.  It is not easy to stop, but we are totally at peace that this is the right time. Saying good-bye for the last time to colleagues and people who have become like family to us is painful, but we know that this is not the end of relationships, and we will have all eternity to rejoice together!

 

Our Joy:

We know that there is no real “retirement” in the work of the Kingdom, and we know that the Lord still has important work ahead of us.

We rejoice in the fruit of our labors over the years that still “remains.”  Our former students are working in over 100 countries.  Many have been our “bosses” in Bible colleges and seminaries in many countries.  Many are leaders in their countries.

 

So, rejoice with us as you read our newsletter.  Please read carefully as many important details are tucked into the sentences.

 

May we say a very hearty THANK YOU for the 56 years of friendship and faithful support In prayer and finances.  We could not have done any of this without YOU behind us.

 

We will continue to pray God’s very best for all of you as you continue His work until Jesus comes to take us home.
